This is a new
build 1974 3.0 RSR to correct FIA appendix K specification. 3.0 Supertec MFI engine, twin spark, carrillo rods, RSR pistons, gas flowed heads, gas flowed crank cases, etc. Recently had the mechanical fuel injection system setup and dyno’d at 282 BHP with silenced exhaust system. Will make more power on megaphones to around 300bhp. Close ratio gearbox, with LSD, upgraded billet side plate cover and bearing support, gearbox oil cooler in front left wing. New 4 pot Porsche 930 brake callipers and discs. Brake circuit has dual master cylinders with adjustable brake bias. Race / road coil-overs and Bilstein dampers, FIA cage, fire extinguisher, electrical cut outs, long distance race fuel tank, 10" x 15" and 13" x 15" wheels.
Interior trimmed correctly for RSR with thin carpet, dash cover, door
panels, etc. Macrolon windows, 10,000 RPM rev
counter. This car can race in the masters series, CER or Vdu V and most historic rallies, or would make a great track day/road car. |

This is an incredibly rare and original 964 RS Touring in RHD. Believed to be one of only 7 UK RHD cars. This car is one of the best example 964 RS I’ve seen in several years. Totally unique car built by Jurgen Alzen Motorsport in 1993. This car is based on a 964 Cup with 965 3.3 Turbo engine and gearbox. Jurgen Alzen converted the car in period with correct Porsche steel wide body wheel arches and Porsche widebody bumpers. As the car is based on a 964 Cup it has the full welded Matter M003 cage, and is fitted with correct Speedline 3 piece 18" wheels and RSR rear kevlar engine lid. Recaro Nomex clubsport bucket seats. The engine has adjustable boost control, in dash boost gauge (as fitted to 934's), and recent new Turbo. A new Hayward and Scott stainless steel full exhaust system, including headers, just fitted. The car has been remapped by Wayne Schofield (Chipwizards) and produces 360 BHP and 430 Lb/ft torque at 1 bar. That is more torque than a 993 turbo and makes a really fast car in the Cup chassis.
The car is available as is, or alternatively there is an option to have a 964 RSR specification engine to be fitted to make a correct RSR recreation. Call or email to discuss options. |
